We get great feedback from employees on our PTO policies, which begin at 19 days (vacation, sick, floating holidays) before considering official holidays which include nice to haves like the Day after Thanksgiving. In addition to that, every employee at Kinetix earned 3 additional days off in 2019 based our our company meeting collective performance goals. From one on one trainings, conference opportunities, leadership classes, and constant feedback, Kinetix will work with you, as long as you put in the work for them. The flexible work environment is cutting edge and one of the best things about working here. We have the ability to work from home two days a week based on performance, flexibility for those who are new parents and leadership's "life happens, we get it" mentality, they really understand what it's like to work in the year 2020. The work is not always easy or glamorous, and like any job, there are good days and bad ones. Overall, the people who work at KinetixHR really want to be here and care about the work they do. Kinetix gives back exactly what you give it, and that's the bottom line. If you're willing to work hard and give a job all that you have professionally, at Kinetix, the sky is the limit! I work here, and I love it. So do my teammates. I've never been more successful, made more money, felt more supported and appreciated, or had more flexibility than I do at Kinetix. This place is one of a kind. It is top to bottom filled with amazing people. Shannon and Kris are amazing and generous owners. The entire leadership team is supportive, helpful and available. The Coaches and Recruiting Director are great and I've learned a ton from them and they're always trying to make us better, so we can be more successful at what we do. Communication could continue to improve, but most of the leadership team has really stepped up here recently. It helped me to realize it's never been about them wanting to keep stuff from us, but that it's just hard to share everything with everyone all the time. Do yourself a favor and look through the reviews. All the positive ones are from current employees, and the negative ones from people that chose or were asked to leave. I feel like I need to be honest and say there's some bitterness out there. We haven't lost many people at all, but I know some that did, have regretted the decision. I've had multiple former employees reach out to me personally, asking me to leave a negative review, simply out of spite and wanting to get certain people in leadership fired. Kinetix is my family, and I'll always stand up for them. It's petty and spiteful and honestly, as much as I considered those people friends in the past, I just can't stand with them now. Revolutionary. Recruiters are great, but that’s about it. Leadership and has no clue whats going on. There are even cliques within leadership — think mean girls. They say you can double your salary with commissions, but that’s a lie. It all depends on which jobs they give you, which depends on favoritism. Additionally, management doesn’t respect workers and constantly gossips about them. There is no transparency and little communication from the top, which bleeds down throughout the organization. People rely on gossip and hearing important things thru the grape vine. Leadership is really out of touch with workers and locks themselves away in their office. They make empty promises and are always pushing for more, even at the cost of quality. The culture is cult like — “drink the kool-aid”. The processes are never ending and the “trainer” is super condescending. There is no teamwork and management turns everything into a competition or “stretch goal”. I came from a sales background in a very cut-throat, fast turnover industry and walked into my interview with very little marketing experience and what I believed to be a lot of potential. Luckily, the people I interviewed with (including leadership) believed that too, and took the time to develop my skills and gave me opportunities to either sink or swim. I started out on the coordinator level (and definitely had to overcome some struggles), but just about one and half years in, I was able to identify a team management need and basically create my own role. While the constant change does present new barriers that can be frustrating at times, the support and open door policy on the team, and across the office as a whole, always leads to raw communications about problems and potential solutions. I'm looking forward to my team's continued growth and all of the cool stuff we "creatives" will get to do moving forward. Sometimes we are forced to push ourselves to move faster than we are used to which can create cracks–after all the MKTG team runs like an agency (see above for greater detail).
