private:kingsoft https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=324954 Oct 5th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Kingsoft Beijing, Beijing Disappointing experience, I don't recommend it to anyone. -No one speaks English which is good if you want to practice your Chinese. -Corporate type of work environment. -Company is based on a very traditional ways and doesn't perceive it necessary to change. -As a foreigner you are not being listened to, your ideas are not taken 'valid' with excuses that 'this will not work for Asia' even though the project is supposed to be launched globally (game publishing). -No innovation. -Extremely narrow-minded, incapable managers, on one hand they talk big but then no action really follow. -Rude, unhelpful HR with terrible attitude: their approach is that it's always you making problems whenever you ask them for help (even though it's their job to help and support you). -No experience in arranging documents for foreigners, arranging work visa takes months. In the last 2 days of my visa I was asked to leave the country on the same day (e.x. to Hong Kong) and return next day so that my passport has a new stamp. Has things to learn. -Pays well. -Overtime benefits are not bad. -Friendly and talented co-workers. -Great lack of planning. -LOTS of overtime (looking at 7 months now) -Leadership does not lead by example. -No development process like SCRUM or Agile exists. -Does the classic "everyone does over time" rather than holding individuals accountable.
