A typical day would include processing complex orders for client contracts. Providing retail quotes over the phone in the pursuit to convert to a sale. Managing work load through Outlook or the company web and phone. I learned about NSW Builder contracts and regulations which was applicable for my job. I started to gain a good understanding of products which was difficult , but I was happy with my progress. The hardest part of my job was navigating my way to a solid understanding of the business, it's products, the goals and reading between the lines as I had a difficult time communicating with direct manager and surrounding work mates, the office politics took away from a big part of my week at times and I felt less productive because of it as it was a small office and hard to dodge at times. I enjoyed the opportunity as a whole. It was a neat conversation piece, I liked there is existing options for people to be sustainable and more self reliant, I enjoyed being part of it as a job and continue to think about it and do better in my personal day to day life based on fundamentals that I had taken from my experience at Kingspan Water and Energy. I.e not being listened to when professional opinion given.
