They give you room to work and are not watching over your every move. When they hire you they expect that you know your job and will give you room to use your talents from project to project. | Only potential downside is that you only a piece of the project. Since there is a lot of on going work on client sites, often times you don't get to see the big picture of the site and how its laid out. Its a matter of a task list that needs to be done.
