<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Arial">In this role, you will create the competency-based assessments that universities use to evaluate their applicants on the Kira Platform. Competency-based assessments on Kira are either timed video or timed written assessments in which each question is related to a core competency that the program has deemed as important to their students. </span></p>
<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Arial">Working with a range of people from Dean level to Program Director level at universities around the world, you will effectively communicate, critically listen, and co-create the assessments that will help determine if an applicant is admitted to a specific program. </span></p>
<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Arial">The ideal candidate would have a background in higher education, possess strong empathy, be willing to go above and beyond for the schools we work with, and have very strong verbal and written communication skills. </span></p>

Typically these workshops are conducted over video conference tools, and require you to understand nuances in conversations, ask thoughtful follow-up questions, and take detailed notes. You may be working with committees or groups of individuals and strong presentation and facilitation skills are a must. </span></p>
<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Arial">The content of these workshops surround student success, student engagement, and intended program outcomes. An understanding of current education systems would definitely help you in this position. </span></p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 18px;font-family: Arial">Assessment Creation (Question and Rubric Writing) </span></strong></p>
<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Arial">After the workshops with the partner schools, you are expected to create custom competency-based assessments for their admissions process. This may require additional research into the schools that you are working with, and ongoing upskilling in creating questions and rubrics. </span></p>
<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Arial">Previous experience writing assessments is not necessary, but you must have the curiosity and drive to create polished, custom content for each new partner school. </span></p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 18px;font-family: Arial">Ongoing Support</span></strong></p>
<p dir="ltr"><span style="color: #222222;font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: Arial">After you have worked with the individual schools or programs to help create their competency-based assessment, a part of your role will be providing ongoing support to clients. This can range from updates to their assessments, to technical support on the Kira platform, to questions about how to utilize the Kira data. </span></p>
