Absolute corruption. A collection of people who cannot make it anywhere else. They use inter-company alliances to blame others, and have employees spying on each other. Just an awful place to work. Do not be fooled by the beautiful view, office furniture, etc. Watch the movie boiler room. This place is exactly that type of setup but worse.

Working here was a stepping stone in the direction of a law firm career path. I met some really great people. They do give some opportunities for growth. Building is beautiful and in a great location. Benefits were pretty decent. In the beginning it’s honestly not bad at all but then you start to see the real ugliness underneath.

It’s like high school all over again. In every department there are favorites and it’s very frustrating. Majority of the women were extremely catty, passive aggressive and unprofessional. HR did not do anything when situations would arise. They mostly blamed you and didn’t address problems. Managers are completely over worked which leads to unnecessary stress to those who work under them. They have ridiculous expectations. No clear organization between different departments and technology is so outdated that it just made triple the work when there is actual software that would move things more smoothly and efficiently. They try to offer free food or free movies instead of pay increases or bonuses. The Christmas parties are so boozed filled and everyone especially the junior attorneys and Bay Area lawyers act like the firm is a hook up fish pond.

Train your employees properly from the beginning. Kindness and respect goes a long way and should be introduced from the beginning. Update your technology in order to give your employees a fair chance to excel in there departments. STOP GIVING FREE FOOD IN REPLACEMENT OF PAY COMPENSATION.
