The polices are not expressed or have clarity to the client nor interacts with the client in time of need. This company stands away from the client and never interacts with the client unless Knights of Columbus will gain something. Very sad place to work or have passion in helping people. Your careless, silent acts are louder than words.

My boss makes sure every single one of us is taken care of especially when we are in a time of need. Whenever I was short on funds all I had to do was ask my boss. He really cares about the employees and the patrons.

I would not recommend working for KofC insurance. Yes you are given leads but success depends on your territory. Some are good and some are bad. Top agents are making great money but that is far and few in between.

I supplied the organization with FREE Customer Maintenance.

During employment,
I spent more time fixing prior agents' errors, causing me and the Knights to look bad upon my first meeting with customers. That and spent too much time doing customer maintenance which I was NOT paid for. The general manager lied about benefits and income and also after telling him about my current financial situation and wanting to work close to my area, he assigned me a territory an hour from my home. So 2 hours there and back, then 95% of the customers would not purchase insurance and was a general maintenance call. Membership was dwindling, and the majority of customers just wanted to talk. No future.

This company has their little hidden threats that cause many to have anxiety and quit. Colleagues and management are so over the top politically and religiously conservative that they create a hostile work environment. I am convinced that the Knights of Columbus is just an insurance cult.

I was a field agent before Covid. I can't even imagine how difficult KOC FA's must have to work now. GA's want you to actually "knock on people's doors" at night if they don't return your phone calls or emails. (remember this is not the 1950's and we are not selling vacuum cleaners) GA's track your every phone call, every response, every meeting, every cancelled meeting, etc. (talk about "big brother") and if you do not enter the information on your KOC computer you are in for a scolding of "breaking the law". No salary. you work off of a "draw" (no this is not the 1980's KOC, but they think so) 100% commission only. A lot of the work is maintenance. (filing death claims, selling off annuities, spinning wheels, attending non-selling events at night and weekends, etc.) You can spend hours on these things without any pay or commission...yet you are expected to still make calls and schedule sales appts. "or else!" Just not for me. Many men stick it out for years, not sure how? ...but they do.
