The people are great - everyone is friendly and offers to help when you need it. The office is a modern, open workspace, centrally located and is a nice place to work overall. The free snacks and refreshments at the office and summer hours are great perks too! Opportunity to work so closely with Joanna has been absolutely inspiring! The work environment is high performing, but judgment free and supportive. They are suspiciously extremely positive with no objectivity. Look at the negative reviews. Customers were awful, you were constantly deescalating anxious and irritable women to then not have any stock in their size to sell once they finally liked something. Company opened 6 stores in 6 weeks without addressing stock issues in current locations and increased monthly targets beyond anything obtainable and upper management made us feel like we were the issue in store even though we increased profits 10% year over year. Mangers don’t actually work on the floor. I saw one of the leaders slowly break and then get fired for doing her job. She was the only one who actually did her job and had others actually work. They can’t communicate. We opened a pop up store and they didn’t tell us if we were closing or not. They also started cutting hours like crazy even though we all had contracted hours All management was expected to be available 24/7 Toxic management who would eavesdrop on the cameras from home and call the store about what was happening. No guidance for how the store is supposed to look and then too many opinions about anything from head office Too much emphasis on open door policy. Where do I start? They pretend to care about their employees but they don't. It's all about $$$. When they aren't hitting targets the axe will fall. Terrible management. Constant changes with no direction. They don't have enough people allocated to appropriate positions so everyone is scrambling last minute. Woke culture is forced upon you to the degree that it actually felt like discrimination. They pretend to care about their staff but they don't. There is no Work/Life balance.
