Bad - Suppressed work environment
|
Work environment is not what it seems, 30% wasted work productions In some departments. Employee base consist of too many family members or long term employees in a kind of collaboration to suppress new ambition. Outside consultant needs to come in and clean things up. Top down failure in management. Other option is to sell the company and clean house.

Incompetent management, failing company
|
Besides blatant nepotism, management is unqualified for their jobs, starting at the VP level, trickling down to forepersons. Excessive OT for management's short-sightedness. VP of Manufacturing actually heard saying "I'm NEVER wrong". Bad culture to work in. Company is very far behind in staying competitive with wages and benefits. Many good workers end up leaving in disgust while departments are left with slackers and people who work at a minimal level. Corrective actions towards these people never happen. The company has been on a slow, steady decline since the founders passed away. Look elsewhere for work, most quit after a few weeks or months. Save yourself the grief and frustration!

Co workers are nnice its the management thats the problem. Have and emergency to bad out with sick kid to bad they changed hours for shift and didnt care how it affects ppl all about the $ and not the ppl working there

Upper management (anything above a foreman) does not care about you. You are just a number to them, and will talk behind your back to other upper management. They are all greedy. You can get paid far more working at Walmart, or any other job. Keep looking and avoid this place at all costs.

Alright place to work if close and want overtime

Not necessarily a bad place to work. If it was closer to home, or the overtime wasn't all the time, I probably would have stayed.
Upper management (anyone above your foreman) seems so disconnected from issues on the floor, such as understaffed departments.

Was ok but management does not handle sexual harassment etc issues well. They would rather sweep the issue under the rug then properly handle it. Will request you to move departments before actually handling the issue
