I’m currently working in Kontakt.io, and I feel as a part of a family, not just as a worker. In fact, the company has made me feel as a follower, and a leader. I have already experienced two different styles of management of two CEOs of this company. The current one is passioned, inspirational LEADER and VISIONARY. He is going beyond what is expected from him. He considers employees’ = followers’ needs over his own and gets beyond his self-interest for the good of employees. Philipp encourages us to think out of the box without any fear of making a mistake. What’s more, he even encourages us to make mistakes, this is how we can learn, and develop. I’ve been put in may uncomfortable situations within the past few months, when I had to leave my comfort zone, but Philipp led, mentored, and put trust in me, UNDERSTOOD where I need support and led me. He is leading each of us in areas where we are not feeling comfortable, strong, and gives his hand, offers resources to help us develop. He shows WHY we are doing our jobs, HOW my work apply to the real world, and WHY my work is important for my own development and for the company. Not enough workforce - job that should have been done by interns or juniors has to be covered by senior levels. Hence, some of the employees has less time or need to work over-hours to to their job.

Working from a satellite office has it's challenges regardless of who it's for. Pay could have been more competitive.
