I wonder how they can survive? Management was disconnected from the reality of production. Turned a lot of work away because of profit margins. And shorted employees of potential work. Only 2 major accounts they rely on to heavily. I did not fell secure or appreciated there. And the pay did not cover the cost of living. Decent Equipment and skilled people. The three 12 hour work week was great. The hourly wage, benefits, and holidays were perfect. The days and the week always went fast. Very busy when working. The hardest part of the job was when items were not ready for press. But that rarely happened and everything for the most part was always ready. The work crews, pre-press, and bindery were the most enjoyable because everyone worked together. The press crews were experienced and well trained. The Production Manager was the best I ever had. I worked with him at G.A.C. Allied also. Unfortunately printing shops come and go. Clean, safe, organized, "Tour-Ready" work environment and showcase. They have strong leadership and great people that always strive for continuous process improvement. ISO Certified and focused on customer satisfaction, while providing employee development. The company provided me with many opportunities and helped me grow as an individual. Had it not been for the economy I believe I would have retired with this organization. They have hung in there during the hard times.
