private:kpianalytics https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=950761 Dec 16th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open KPI Analytics Account Executive United States USA Good for beginners/Dial For Dollars Decent pay. $21 bucks an hour plus commissions although that is subject to change. Make 150 calls a day and hope to make 1 appointment per week. True cold calling. If you are new and not used to having a salary (not hourly) or health benefits and PTO and can sit in one spot like a robot, cranking out 150 dials a day, to hit or miss leads, then this could work for you. This is just an appointment setting gig. If you are in between jobs and need something quick, this could work for you. You are a contractor working for a client if KPI. This is project based 1099 contract employee. No taxes are taken out. For more than 6 months. They will tell you there is a 3 month grace period and then a review, but that review never happens. Others that started with me would reach out privately asking if I had my review or any talk about becoming an employee and I would tell them I was in the same boat. Very unprofessional for no one to set a date and have a review over your work and then tell you if you were hired on or not. Something I’ve never experienced in my work life ever. I had to be the one to ask multiple times when that day was coming. After 5 months there I asked again and was told you become an employee 3 months in, but it could be up to 6 months from start date. After that, you wait an additional 3 months for benefits to kick in. That’s a whopping 6 -9 months before you can get benefits. I would have declined the offer if that was disclosed to me. I am not new to sales and had multiple offers to choose from which is often the case when I’m seeking employment. That’s a blessing, yet a curse because I was so concerned and very indecisive. What if the project we work on, ceases to exist? Will I still have a job? Their in-house recruiter truly has the gift of gab and assured and convinced me to accept their offer because my concerns were nothing to worry about since I have a strong background and experience, and they have long time relationships with the companies they run campaigns for. Lies. I did extremely well the first 3 months, then the whole team hit a slump. Even in my first 3 months there I was doing much better than people who had been there much longer than me. What happens next? we hear that slump caused us to get behind, now that things picked back up, it was catch up time or the client may not renew their contract with KPI! Wow. So if those #’s aren’t met, and they don’t renew, everyone working that project gets a new one? Highly unlikely since everything else I was told did not come to fruition. Favoritism. Some get taken off the tougher cold calling assignments and put on easier “Invite you to our booth at the convention“ type projects and assignments and are still compared to those that have do the cold calling of old and/or inaccurate leads/leads you have called up to 40 times in one month. Yes you read that right. The leads are sometimes so old. You call them an annoying and obsessive amount of times cause you have to hit that quota! And if there’s nothing to call, keep calling. The companies start to block you. Which we know that’s possible because the solution we are setting appointments for, gives companies the ability to block you. After a while, some will even tell you to stop calling they will never do business with the client you are setting appointments for because you’ve called so many times or a rep before you from KPI also called numerous times and now they want nothing to do with the client you are calling for. If you want to work from home and have experience, you can find better elsewhere. There are many companies paying 10-15k salary (not hourly. I couldn’t remember the last time I had to “clock in” and “turn in a timesheet” really beginner stuff here) more than KPI is, with PTO and health benefits that start 30 days after employment and taxes are taken out right away. And with half the call quota a day because you are calling warm leads. Cold calling may not be dead, but why work harder instead of smarter? I have 2 such offers as we speak. A true account executive has the ability to cultivate a relationship with their prospect. This is just a high paying appointment setting position. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 950761 Open Doubt they will listen. private:kpianalytics https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=950761 Mar 29th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open KPI Analytics Account Executive Austin, TX Account executive 5 years with KPI At start i did really well, was fairly compensated, the energy was amazing and everyone was happy to be there. But then... In the 5 years I spent with KPI I didn’t see one raise(not for lack of asking) despite consistency and success. Helped launch multiple campaigns that were successful and always helped in other areas when I could but despite this they seemed to not care in the slightest about loyalty and commitment. Bonus structure seems to change on a whim usually when it was working out well for the associates. Every year at the company upon reviewing my W2 I made less money than the year before but continued if not increased the amount of production. Come bonus time every month there seemed to always be a reason they wouldn’t pay out what was owed and the next month the goal would be inflated and almost unreachable. Then there was the end of my time there. Got a call one day out of the blue and was told “we’ve decided to end your tenure here at KPI”, I proceeded to ask for a reason and the answer was repeated to me in robotic fashion, “we’ve decided to end your time here at KPI”. I get that hard business decisions have to be made at times and I understand that not everyone will be happy with those decisions but you think that if you spend 5 years of your life at a place, especially a small company in which you know everyone personally from owner to secretary, that some level of integrity or respect would be shown. If you are using KPI as a stepping stone, or need a job for a short time until you find something better, by all give it a go. But temper your expectations and don’t expect to be treated as a person or to matter at all in the eyes of management. -1.0 NEGATIVE 1.0 POSITIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 2.0 2.0 4.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 950761 Open Think about the employees from time to time.
