I started off at Kraft Kennedy as a Technical consultant and I am now a manager with a team of direct reports. When I left my teammates were promoted into the position i had and they were well prepared. I didn't understand it at first, but Kraft Kennedy really does have a special culture. Its a place where you make your own opportunities and are encourage to try and expand the things you do. If you succeed, those successes allows you to continue to expand and more resources are allocated. If you fail, you get the opportunity learn from it and try it again. Those who embrace the culture and is spectacular at what they do is given the opportunity to grow. Those who are looking for a 9-5 where praise is just given to exist will find their career progression lacking. I learned so much in my time here. I had excellent mentors that showed me how to lead. They were they to guide me when i faltered and encouraged me to keep going. They were the primary reason for my success and why i stayed as long with the company as i did. You have to be good in what you do. If you are not, you will be frustrated because you wont be able to keep up. My most trying times were when i would encounter coworkers who are not working up to par, but were treated similarly.
