Most partners were aloof and too busy ("important") to take the time to listen or genuinely care. Favoritism and cliques abound. Many rude, arrogant attorneys who do not know how to treat employees with authentic respect and decency. No real guidance or feedback for new employee, only "testing" to see if you have what they want. And if you are falling short of their expectations, there is no feedback to help you improve in those areas. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 2.0 2.0 4.0 2.0 3.0 4.0 1.0 9620 Open If your partners are not effective leaders and do not know how to motivate and inspire their department employees, perhaps get them training to be more effective and inspiring managers. Most people want to do there best -- however, overcritical/judgmental/arrogant/condescending leadership is not an effective way to lead nor inspire people to do their best. Instead of thinking you are the best (your arrogance)--look for ways to improve yourself. Partner with zero patience-skills would eye-roll when speaking to clients on the phone--if you have no time or respect for your clients who give you business and pay your bills--then maybe reconsider your profession.
