Good co-workers and bonding atmosphere, but overworked and underpaid
|
I worked here for awhile and enjoyed the closeness i had with co-workers and my clients. however the job was demanding, of course, but you feel incredibly underpaid for the work you do. management unfortunately would talk badly behind their therapists back and i’ve witnessed this countless times.

I was a receptionist for about a month and the other ladies were very nice to me and tried teaching me their very unintuitive check out/scheduling system. The owner was probably the meanest person I’ve ever met and made me cry multiple times for simple mistakes while I was training. The owner has an “I’m better than you because I grew up filthy rich” vibe and was a terror to me. The pay (at the time) was below min wage during training the rose a bit above after that. You only got a “”bonus”” if you upsold ENOUGH people on items/services they didn’t want or need, which was like 20 people a week. They also gave me the graveyard shifts so the other workers wouldn’t have to do that anymore, when they knew I was uncomfortable leaving at 10-11 pm at night in Seattle by myself. Overall, terrible place to work as a receptionist if you value your work/life balance and sanity.

Low pay, Pitiful management at most locations
|
Pitiful pay, Good luck finding a location that the owner doesn't live out of state, or actually comes into the spa. If you need help you must call the owner that lives clear across the country. Most locations are poorly managed, and it is up to the therapist to manage the spa and the front desk. The market is oversaturated with locations, resulting in very few clients. Overall pathetic.

It’s very relaxing place

Teamwork, the management are fine. And the most enjoyable thing is when you see your regular clients monthly.
The most hardest part in this location is when clients terminate their account.

Ok pay but no benefits . You getting only massage or facial once a month free. Owners like to gossip and cause drama between employees . They don’t treat everyone equal. Lots of turnover of employees. Good start job to get experience.

Horrible. Therapists who barely work shifts and don’t help with laundry and side work get paid the most! Owners have always been about making money, not the therapists well being.
