The remote culture was a pro.
|
CEO loves talking about Fantasy football like it's a part of the company mission. I had to ask 3 different people on the e-team when commissions would be paid out. It felt like I was chasing my hard-earned funds. Poor Onboarding Plan. Don't pay employees for their 2-week notice. The HR department needs improvement.

I really enjoyed my internship at LeadCrunch. They were called LeadCrunch until 2021, then they recently changed their name to Rev. The work was interesting, the culture was supportive, and my manager was very nice to me. I learned a lot from this internship.

The team and collaboration at Rev is exceptional. The team has a laser focus to build a new category in the market and I love how the company is transitioning to a SAAS model in comparison with the historic service approach. The company focuses on employee health and wellness first, and collaboration is strongly recommended among different teams.

Rev is a start up in hyper-growth. There are exceptional people and technology here but the are processes that tend to fall slightly behind when a company is at this stage.

The only con I can think of is that the company does not have clearly-defined paths for moving up in the company. The company does promote often and there are opportunities to move up, but unless you ask, it's unclear what opportunities are available and how to reach those opportunities. That being said, if you ask and talk with management, they do listen and will help you reach your goals.
