Dirt cheap. Some teams have to finance their own tools. No investment is made back into companies they have already purchased. Salaries are below market level. Burnout is inevitable. No sense of purpose beyond buying dusty software companies. Upper management has the charisma of chewed bubble gum. You will become jaded to corporate life if you aren’t already.

LTG is an good-sized international company and thus you can work with international talents; various perks such as workshops and freeflow treats; and good number of others
|
If they decide that you are redundant, you are done. Fires people and closes regional departments and offices while saying nothing will be changed. If your company has been recently acquired by them, it might mean better for you (if they decide your role is needed, and thus you will benefit from the new career opportunities and others) or worse (fire you without much warning).

The team I work with are excellent, talented, hard working and fun (I can't say for sure this is the same everywhere across the company, just my experience).
During the pandemic, senior management have been phenomenal in every way - this seems to have been universally acknowledged by staff across the group in my experience. Really fast, positive, staff-focused response. They seem to genuinely put the well-being of staff above all else.
Very good communication from senior management.
I personally love working here.

Some of the individual companies seem slow to modernise their systems, though I believe this is changing.
Acquisitions happen fairly often so things sometimes seem hectic and fast paced.
I believe the pay in some cases isn't as high as some other companies.

-salary and benefits are a complete joke; the bonus isn't all that great unless you are executive level or work at Rustici
-The "promote from within' is really how they are able to get by with paying below market wages to people in senior level roles.
-Always claiming to be "market leaders in digital learning" but our software is decades old
-The shear volume of spreadsheets used throughout this company is mind boggling. They absolutely refuse to invest in software to improve accuracy and efficiencies.
-Turnover is very high most people leave in the first year
-no real leadership in the company
-employees have no voice
-Penny pinching has cost the company so much money.

We were acquired by LTG almost 2 years ago and change continues toward the positive. The new leadership from day one has been very open and honest about what needed to happen to bring our company up to certain standards as well as porfitability. While they made tough decisions immediately after the acquisition they did their best to communicate why the changes needed to happen and they knew and admitted that it took a toll on everyone and each department.
What I will say is since that time the CEO and leadership have been extremely communicative both addressing the good along with struggles or areas of opportunities - I always know where I stand as well as the expectations.
This has been especially important during this time while we have all been affected by COVID 19. The leadership acted quickly and swiftly to ensure that all employees felt safe and had the full support of leadership to make decisions to protect ourselves. They have conducted weekly communication calls so that we know exactly what to expect and have been very forthright and honest. We have even been asked for our input to how this might effect our future work, innovation and how we would like to see changes as restrictions lift.
During this time we have all had to make sacrifices but those started with our leadership and we were given choices and a plan to repay this short term ask. In fact, those sacrifices were very short lived and we have our leaders to thank for all of their hardwork in this difficult time. I am very proud of how far we have come under LTG and am proud to work with this company and if you dont know who we are, check us out....we have changed!!

I dont have any current cons, maybe that the coffee machine is not great but I believe senior management even has a plan to change this sooner than later.
