If I make a compelling case for how it actually be helpful then I've never been turned down. - It is a fast pace which can be a con for some people, but I like developing something and seeing people use it within months or weeks instead of years at my last job - They are continuing to hire people so they don't burn out everyone on our team - They are hiring a lot of new people so taking time to help train can be distracting sometimes - Due to working at home I don't get to see other people very often - They've had the same types of snacks in the breakroom for awhile so hopefully when go back in the office they'll switch them up 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 3.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 1704297 Open Keep growing and hiring. Despite what the company wants to portray publicly, the culture here is very hierarchical. The leadership wants employees to “do things as soon as I ask them to” - a direct quote. And maybe for that reason, there is a layer of middle management that just does what the leadership wants without asking any questions or speaking up. "ASAP" is management and leadership's favorite word and that’s a huge problem. Maybe if they have a better long-term strategy, then everything doesn’t have to be a fire drill. But, the culture here is creating quick fixes rather than thinking about the long-term solutions. And being “fast-paced” isn’t an excuse to be so reactionary. Employees don’t have the tools they need to do their jobs. My work laptop is slow and outdated. It’s older than the first laptop I received as an intern SIX years ago at another company! While I haven't been with the company that long, I have noticed a very significant decrease in employee satisfaction and overall culture. As management, you are required to provide constructive criticism to help develop your employees but a simple "good job" on a job well done will go a long way. SDR is a tough job and when I had some things come up in my personal life they were very understanding. - In the town hall meetings the company leaders are consistently offering new benefits to help and the CEO takes questions from anyone. - This was my first sales job and they spent alot of time coaching me even though in the end I realized sales wasn't for me. I also knew exactly where I stood at all times so it wasn't like I suddenly realized it wasn't for me. While I didn't like not doing well, I had plenty of time to try and improve and realize I should do something else. I have friends at other companies get a surprise meeting on their calendars with HR so glad that didn't happen to me. - I didn't realize until the end of my time there that SDRs could go onto other positions besides being an Account Executive. Knowing that earlier I may have try to switch sooner to a different department. - It's tough being remote and calling all day long. I've been at other companies where they ask for opinions and then nothing happens so I was excited to see some of those ideas actually happen. - We got a new office right before Covid and it is the best space I've ever worked in. I'm looking forward to being able to go back once Covid starts going away. - Since we are growing so quickly sometimes there things I have to do myself because they haven't filled the position or added extra people yet. I know they are hiring to fill it but it's still extra work for me right now. - Not being able to go to the office because of Covid.
