With so many offices in multiple locations, corporate offices don't communicate well with satellite offices. As a newly acquired entity we felt like we weren't really a part of the larger picture. This was reinforced when they closed our lab and moved the science to the west coast.

Staff are very much seen as a cost instead of and asset by leadership.
Pressure to work a lot of unpaid overtime during busy periods, with flakey promises of time-in-lieu in return.
No overtime pay.
Share value and number of shares issued is a complete mystery, so using options as compensation is essentially worthless.
Poor salary increases for promotions.
No guaranteed yearly salary increase.
Vague promises of promotions used to manipulate staff, but often they don't materialise without much, if any explanation.
