Don't need to dress up. Travel sometimes. The CEO and company structure. There is no company structure, it's like the wild wild west. They lured me in from another company with tons of promises they never fulfilled. I was told there would be a two week training with the CEO which turned into a 2 day over the phone training. CEO, is no suitable to lead a large team. He talks down to employees any chance he gets and no experience in the position. One time, I flew in for a big meeting and he showed up in jeans. Once I got behind the curtains, I was very disappointed with Levitate and how they treat their employees. If something comes up that makes it more difficult they work with you. -A lovely place to work. -The pay is great. -Work is occasional. private:levitatemedia https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=866916 Jan 15th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open Levitate Freelance Editor & Animator San Francisco, CA They pay freelancers on their own time and hide the fact that they outsource everything from the clients It's remote and the lower level producers are nice people. - They tell their clients that they have local teams then outsource freelancers. - They pay when they're ready to pay which is a minimum of Net30 AFTER the project is finished (could be 9 months to a year). It's really like Net60 or Net90. I've had to follow up multiple times on every singe project. - The CEO runs the company like it's a sales business when it is in fact, a creative business. - Some of the producers are very nice. I've worked with Gary, Kyle, and Toby, all whom were great to work with but it seems the higher management is absolutely clueless to the type of business they're running.
