private:lexingtoninsurance https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=20430 Aug 14th, 2015 12:00AM Open Open Lexington Insurance Claims Examiner Boston, MA Good for the most part... Great people to work with. Most co-workers are more than willing to assist each other with company policies and procedures. Pay is good. Ability to work from home is a major plus. The claim distribution procedure could use an overhaul. Employee Performance review process needs to be replaced with one which recognizes the merits of each employee. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 4.0 3.0 5.0 2.0 3.0 4.0 20430 Open I believe more beneficial for Lexington to hire temporary examiners (part or full time) to cover the excess claim flow. That way regular examiners could devote the necessary time to their existing claims. Also, loose the Employee Review Process and replace it with one which will evaluate each employee on their own merits. Just a thought... 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 9.0 Mar 17th, 2021 04:37PM Mar 17th, 2021 04:37PM Lexington Insurance

I worked there after my freshman year in college and it was a great experience because they actually had the interns do meaningful work which made days go by faster and gave me some marketable skills. Hard to say that there was much bad about the internship, only thing that really got me was that it was cyclical so at the end of the month there would be a lot of work and tight deadlines, but during the middle there may be nothing to do. 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 20430 Open 0.0 [] INTERN No No 1.0 Mar 17th, 2021 04:37PM Mar 17th, 2021 04:37PM Lexington Insurance

Lexington really comes down to your group as it is more decentralized than most large companies. Some teams are awesome and others are terrible. The compnay functions more like a bunch of separate divisions with their own culture rather than one unified company. No, or very little interaction with other divisions. While their are still many talented people here, the companies continues to bleed talent. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 4.0 4.0 3.0 20430 Open Increase interaction between divisions and create a culture that brings divisions together. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Mar 17th, 2021 04:37PM Mar 17th, 2021 04:37PM Lexington Insurance
