Company's biggest achievement is staying open this long

This company is an absolute nightmare. Ultimately, the problem is absolutely abysmal management who just don't have a clue and fail at every single one of Fayol's Principles of Management. People in key positions have literally failed upwards-- I'm not saying this out of spite. This is literally true. They are very abusive and exploitive to the point where mass layoffs will take place, sending a lot of knowledge and experience out the door and discarding the responsibility onto inexperienced people in their place and beating them down when the process isn't ran with the same level of efficiency all the while denying them compensation for the increased responsibility forced upon them; effectively a 'Bait & Switch' in many cases. Management has a hands-off, 'every-man-for-themselves' approach. Even qualities that offer some leeway only exist because of apathetic management too lazy to enforce policy. Upper management believes they are entitled to you as a person, wasting your personal time without justifiable reasoning. There is a huge problem with accountability. The responsibility for most of everything is consolidated onto a handful of people. Many people can shirk their contributions because they know that someone else will be responsible for fixing it and management is complicit. People in these positions are absolutely over-encumbered and show up to work just trying to stay afloat each day.
Company doesn't understand its staff, doling out tasks to people without the skillsets choosing not to bother with the arduous task of determining who would be most suited for the project, suggesting they just "figure it out," but will not invest in you learning the skillset required for the task or in your growth in general. Company benefits such as tuition reimbursement are absolutely laughable. Not a single system there has been successfully implemented and it makes me wonder how a company with so much incompetence survives this long. To further harken on the point of exploitation, the company regularly employs temporary staffing. The union that operates there has a policy about how long someone is allowed to remain a temp and the company must make a decision to hire them or let them go. The company doesn't do that. Instead, they send them to an area not governed by the union where they can remain a temp for years without benefits for literally no justifiable reason. That being said, there are some good people and I wish them the best.

A fair company, they treat you well and explain the processes that are required to complete your task .
Some areas of your work can be very repetitive so they try to move you to other tasks that make life a little less boring.
You need to be able to have very good eyesight,concentration and dexterity to produce the amount required.
You are initially told to concentrate on quality only, the speed is secondary, sadly this not always the case.

Would not recommend. Management doesn't care about employees. Don't allow full breaks, they start your machines before you come back. Change your work schedule and have the nerve to call it mandatory overtime.

Constant layoffs and recalls. Pay is good but only if you're working. Insurance is ok. Monday -Friday 8 hours and occasional overtime in shipping but the rest of the plant runs wide open all the time.

Management incompetent

Stepping stone, no room for advancement. Management turns blind eye to abuse of company policies. Work is slow employe punches in at start off shift, leaves the premises in there personal vehicle and returns at the end of there shift. Management is aware of this and does nothing. Supervisor is aware of this breach of policy.
