This is the worst Law Firm to ever be employed with. The Human Resource dept. does not exist, and the ones operating as such are entirely manipulating and deceiving. You barely can trust anyone at this Firm. It is like Gossip mania and people with horrible intentions so they can climb up their (secular) pompous ladder. Yes, there are some genuinely nice attorneys; however, most staff and some attorneys are very egotistical and lack any common decency for a real work environment. Many there think they are far superior, which is just humorous. I am surprise this Firm has lasted this long –especially with the lay-offs that they do when they get/are tight on the budget, because HR spends money for superficial things to appear elite—just ridiculous . Any attorney or staff that are working there and are truly smart and genuinely good and trustworthy people should get out of there so fast and run from that Firm. They treat employees very poorly unless you play in the same filth of deception. Run; run far as you can from this Firm. This firm is not what they like to portray (as a supposedly top firm in Mpls.) There is so much crap going on in that firm it is truly scary.

I have worked as a Legal Secretary/LAA at Lindquist for most of my adult life. I have seen many changes along the way. I have no personal complaints, and in fact I have been treated extremely well by this law firm. As you will read throughout this website, you will see that Lindquist has received multiple negative reviews, particularly in the last five years as a result of many staff and attorney layoffs. Please read these posts with discretion. Lindquist has rewarded me with bonuses, rate increases, and a reduced work schedule to accommodate my family commitments. My immediate supervisors and those I work with day in and day out have been and continue to be incredibly kind and family-oriented. They are real good people! Lindquist rewards staff who are eager and willing to learn new software, procedures, and those who continue to improve their skills. In today's law firm, those who complain and refuse to adhere to the changes will most likely be shown the door. It's as simple as that.

Staff reductions seem to have reached a level that can at times be difficult. LAAs in particular feel stretched a little thin, and taking time off most times does not feel like a vacation, because you know you will be overwhelmed when you return. The Firm is hoping to cross-train most of their LAAs so as to provide a larger support base for certain departments. The law field is changing, and we as a firm must give the clients what they require yet still keep our staff happy. We moved to our new space in November 2016, reducing our footprint, and as a result, this past year staff has seen generous bonuses and salary increases. This is what we've wanted for quite some time. So, with that said, we must trust management that they knew best when decreasing staff the way in which they did. The Firm has plans to prosper. I for one am excited to see what the next few months and years may bring.

One of the best law firms I have worked for. They treat their employees very well. Recently, they have made a lot of efforts in promoting diversity in the workplace. The managing partner is very likable and approachable.
