Pleasant Place to Work Senior leadership seems smart, sincere and approachable. Dedicated to making this a good place to work. Many employees have been here for over a decade at all levels so had that family business feel. Work on smart campaigns and great clients. Overall people seemed really focused on work and stretched thin. Hear a lot of complaints about too much work. People feeling like they have to check in on vacations. Some of the best PR and event execution I've ever seen. Rapid growth. Media results. Stellar clients. Kind and compassionate coworkers. Entrepreneurial environment (might not be for everyone, especially if you require a lot of oversight). Can be long hours, typical of New York work culture, they haven't solved for that. The day to day client management can't hold a candle to the creativity and challenges that New Business offers. Unfortunately, they don't hire people to work exclusively on new biz. Beauty closet is a fun perk. Being on Union Square was great. I was out of the office by 6 nearly every day, which was great because I had a to have a second job so I could support myself. The work wasn't challenging or creative. My biggest day to day frustration was that there were huge waits for feedback on work, which lead to me asking other departments for work to do almost daily. I asked my manager for more challenging work and her response was that it would be good for me to be bored. I started looking for a new job that same day and was gone in two weeks.
