Work-life balance was the worst I've experienced in my life. Unhealthy amount of work was given to everyone, specially during Covid. I and many of our colleagues stayed up working until 10-11pm at night multiple days a week. Because the CEO encourages employees to work overtime it continues to happen. Worst of all, there is no overtime system. Two of my peers worked through their christmas and new years break and this was just from my small circle of friends so I'm not sure how deep this issue goes. I ended up leaving this company to focus on my mental health and it was by far one of the best decisions I've made in recent years.

Poor Work/Life Balance for the Floor

Not a bad stepping stone and socializing with coworkers isn't terribly painful. You learn a lot. If your motto is "Nobody cares, work harder" this is the perfect place for you.
|
Working overtime is common as is bending over backward to placate clients or franchisees with low-profit margins. PDs overpromising to clients and having managers bare the brunt. They have a resource team but people still have to find their own coverage, which doubles the work of other coworkers if not triple since they don't know the account they were just given. If you're fortunate to have a coworker without a life as your "buddy", taking time off isn't a problem. No real onboarding process or training for interns. I saw or heard at least four account managers cry. Favoritism and getting thrown under the bus were also major issues. Sexual or general harassment doesn't get properly addressed - if at all.

Working with smart, talented, specialized people. Everyone is an expert and everyone is really awesome at their job. Super helpful and you can create lasting friendships. There can be a lot of turn over at times but it puts you in a position to move up and grow with the company. If you are frustrated with the current position you are in, they will listen and help you grow into something that you do want to do. They are constantly looking for ways to improve themselves and their business. You will enjoy the people you work with, they make coming to work the best part of your day.

The open environment can lend itself to people taking liberties when others are busting their butts. It's a little hard to believe someone is 'maxed out on time' when they roll in at 9:30 and dip at 4. There is always two sides to every coin but moving to the 'open work environment' lead to more noise canceling head phones than there were before.

I came over from another marketing company, and was amazed how talented the staff is at Location3 all areas or Search, Display etc. marketing. They are very focused with their mission statement of working with enterprise brands with their local market activations. It shows with the way they work with brands, and it’s impressive. Glad I am on the team!

Seem to take on clients that would be better left unserved; not all winners and not all profitable. Tend to spin wheels for not a lot of return. High turnover seems due to lack of clear direction - whichever way the wind blows.
