Management is dismissive
|
It it’s not their idea, it’s a bad idea - or if it’s really good, they’ll steal it and pass it off as their own. Employees are treated as commodities.

Really horrible management! They don’t help you advance!
|
Horrible place to work and the managers are horrible! They do not care about employees and the pay and advancement suck! They have a lot of pot heads and drunks in roles that shouldn’t be! And people with no highschool diploma are running the show! Horrible place to work!

Challenging work, exactly what I expected
|
On a Typical Day I get in to the office, organize, and work on my daily task list/projects. Generally a project lasts a few days to possibly months - depends what it is obviously. Projects always change or have different goals. Sometimes there is housekeeping type stuff that can be a little tedious, but it's not too bad.
Most projects I work on are challenging. Our team is trying to stay ahead of the curve, so it can be a bit stressful at times. But most of the time these projects are not surprises and we know well in advance when crunch time will hit so we can plan for it.
I think my favorite part of working here is that occasionally our teams have had opportunities to learn new things like a cool program or software technology, and sometimes have chances to go to conferences/trade shows. I meet with my supervisor regularly, and if I think something will help me or my colleges grow (personal development) I can ask them and they will try their best to have Logo take care of it/support it.
All the people I interact with, like supervisors, assistant managers, my team members, and other support/production staff, are very knowledgeable and friendly and do their best to help out when possible.

This COULD have been a great job
|
I was excited when I started working here. However, the excitement quickly dissipated when I realized how mismanaged it was! I received MINIMAL training on the company policies and more importantly the software used making it difficult to successfully do the job. I basically had to learn as I went along. My manager was really nice. I liked my schedule. The pay was just OK.. I noticed that there were very few full time employees. They seem to hire mostly part-time employees to avoid paying out benefits. There are sales bonuses awarded every few months I believe. And even though the department is made up of mostly part-time employees who undoubtedly contribute towards meeting those sales goals, they only award the sales bonuses to full-time employees!! Terribly business practice. Very unfair.
Thos could have been a good job but they don't seem to care about their employees or employee retention. Everyone is replaceable. They keep their employees just below the full-time hour requirements to avoid giving those employees health benefits. There's no leadership or direction. I would not recommend working here.
|
Schedule is nice. Mon-Fri, no weekends or evenings.
|
Low pay, Poor management, No training, Hours linger just beneath full-time status so no benefits, Despite sales goals being met due to departments full of part time workers, they only pay out bonuses yo full-time employees, Awful business practices.

Mismanaged company
|
First of all, I would invite everyone to take a peek at the reviews for logo-sportswear. Logosportswear inc came about because they couldn't improve reviews on the original listing.
Second of all, this is a horrible place to work. The company continues to sweep serious complaints against management under the rug and refuses to pay anyone a livable wage. Both of these things, combined with absurd amounts of stress have continued to drive people to leave.
Stay away, it's not worth it.

It’s a great job if your new, making a lower rate. Once you’ve given years of your life, they let you go and fill your spot with someone cheaper.
It’s nit a secure job.

Fun place to work but need to manage stress well
|
Typical day involved a review of projects and estimated completion times. And then attacking them with a fresh start. I learned a lot about working with a team of programmers and each working on the same programs. Dress was casual, relaxed. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning new programming skills.

Lack of management
|
Not a great place to work if you thinking about a career. The salary is fair if you come with experience, no ways to grow. HR not responsive and co workers very unfriendly

Management considers everyone easily replaceable
|
Management has no problem getting rid of anyone and leaving their other employees to pick up the slack.
Overworked for the amount they underpay and are more concerned about their occasional pizza lunches than paying their employees reasonable wages.
Production staff is certainly more mistreated than office staff.
They often ask about insight from employees on what they can do better but have not listened or taken action on any concerns brought up by the workers.

Co-workers and people in your team are wonderful

Evolving over the years
|
Since I work in the office, when I get in I usually review my emails from the day before, prioritize my tasks and try to get as much as I can get done before the end of the day. These can be solo or as part of a team with other departments, it depends what the task is. And depending on what department you're in or the job you're doing, you might do the same thing every day or different stuff daily.
It can get a little stressful depending on the situation and time of year, but everyone wants to do a good job and get stuff done with as little butting heads as possible. The culture is shifting for the better, the building is a step up from the old building in Cheshire. Too many emails! also some things take time to get done (like employee requests), and sometimes reminders are needed, but it could be quicker.
I like what I do and the people I work with. I realize certain folks can get stressed easy so it helps to have some people skills.
|
good people, relaxed environment, stimulating work
|
different standards/rules for different departments, health/dental benefits change too much, too many emails
