Horrible workplace

Very uninspiring company !! The term life outside work do not exist in Manion’s dictionary!! Very poor management, stressful company and very little help. Very unprofessional environment, a lots of lies from management and there is nothing you can do about it if you want to keep your pay, no long vacation allowed, sick days are taken from vacation days, greedy company that literally serves upper management leftovers to smaller level employees and praise about how generous they are!! The company still practice 70’s racism denial, you might be asked openly and in front of your colleagues to use a more “Anglicized” sounding name on your phone and business transactions because management believe it will help customers have more trust in the company. Director’s quote “you shouldn’t complain because as an immigrant you should be happy to have a job in Canada!!”
If you have any self estime and perhaps not desperate for a pay, do NOT work for Manion, you might be loosing precious years of your life.

Bad management, no job security, racism and age discrimination

Providing decent training method, team leader non commital to help staff members to grow, bad people management, mpac system is complex unneccessary and poorly design not do any help to claims staffers keep up with all non sense updates. Age and races discrimination is always big factor at claims department in last 10 years or so. No internal candidate ever apply there.

Co-workers are great & good team environment. Management is not so great. Training could be better. Job is very demanding. They have the mentality that the clients is always right. How can this co-exist in the insurance industry since claims are based on the contractual agreements.
Management allowed clients to be abusive towards staff without consequences!
