I am able to take on other jobs, feel confident in other skills for workplace rather than just how to play a piano. I have way better communication skills as they gave us lots of support in learning our craft. Teaching and learning how to coach others and bring out their best learning abilities. I am so proud to have worked at Manor and know that I can get another job in other fields and face it with strong work ethic. Teachers have to work hard and I am not afraid of it. My boss was the most vile woman I have ever met. She was completely unprofessional and said things to kids that would shock you. She was unfair in every capacity and no one could make her happy. People are leaving in droves as no one can work in the high stress, toxic environment. She had numerous grievances filed against her and she is still there with no reprimands. It was unreal. While I enjoy my co-workers in my department , the decisions at a higher level do not align with what's truly best for kids. Everything is numbers driven with no regard to people and work life balance.
