It is challenging, Working there for a day will show you if you really do have the ability to sell.

This was by far the worst place I have ever worked! Management will try and use negative feedback to actually motivate its employee’s!!! Even if you make a sale they will only comment on what you did wrong rather then mention any positive feedback! Additionally, all but maybe 5 directories are complete garbage, meaning yess you will have to sugar coat the facts and numbers to make a sale. Makes it a lot harder to sell a product you don’t believe in your self. READ THE FINE PRINT WHEN YOU SIGN YOUR NEW HIRE PAPERS!!!! IF YOU ARE TERMINATED BEFORE THE COMPANY PROCESSES THE PAYMENT FOR A SALE YOU MAKE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR COMMISSION EVEN IF THE SALE GOES THROUGH AFTER YOU WERE LET GO AND YOU DID ALL! THE WORK!!!

The positive reviews are most likely fake

Free snacks. The open space is nice and the happy hour is a plus.
|
The negative reviews are pretty spot on. It’s like high school with the company dynamics. The executives from AC used to fight with MB and the employees were generally pit against each other to improve performance. They sold AC so the aforementioned problem is probably solved but otherwise management is immature. Unfortunately that mentality feeds down to lower level team members and it was pretty miserable working there overall.

Very detailed training. The senior account executives will work closely with you to prepare you to make sales calls. I have gained a lot of knowledge working there and this job has prepared me greatly for my future endeavors in sales.

This job is not for people who aren't able to sit and makes calls continuously throughout the day. I am an individual who needs movement throughout his day, thus this was not a good fit for me.

Decent time off & holiday policies. They allow you a designated lunch hour, don't you dare try to change it!

Churn and burn mentality. I heard bad things before taking the job, I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. Naples is a small town, listen to what others are saying. The owner is crazy, over-involved, impulsive micro-manager. Does not leave you alone to try to do your "job"... sets unrealistic deadlines on projects then is unhappy with the result. All of the employees fear him. It's actually sad because a lot of the people there are nice. Don't fraternize with other employees, don't take too long of a pee break and don't have a family or a life and you may do OK here. For a supposed Marketing + Advertising company, their website is awful and their other site, AgingCare.com lacks creativity and only serves to help them make some $$ off old, sick elderly people.
