The management team and my co-workers are brilliant to work with on a day to day basis. We pride ourselves on being competitive and hard working. We also know how to have fun and enjoy ourselves when we can. I have been taken out of my comfort zone and forced to learn and adapt through on the job training and I can honestly say it has taken me from an average salesperson to a dynamic sales person. Media Corp International is a regional B2B events company, specializing in producing high level B2B Summits across a number of industries, IT, Banking & Finance, Mining, Oil & Gas, HR & Marketing They have been in business now for just under 3 years and in that time have grown consistently at a rate of around 40% per year, and have opened offices in Sydney and Singapore. Their customers within the IT industry include companies such as IBM, Microsoft and HP and in the resources sector BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto The summits are not exhibitions, trade-shows, conferences etc.... What they are, is an opportunity to bring C Level Executives together at a 5* location across Asia Pacific and place them in an environment that will enable them to do business. The role is an office based role, in Sydney speaking to senior level decision makers around the region until you can actually attend the event, so lots of international travel involved and that's when you will meet and strengthen the relationship with your customers. On a daily basis we're talking to CEO's, VP's and MD's and as you can imagine these people are busy, so the job is really about making a great first impression over the phone. It's certainly a very dynamic and fast-paced environment but there is great career progression in place and the financial rewards are there to accompany it. The best part is that it's uncapped commission, so it definitely comes down to the individual in determining how much they make.
