A lot has changed since I worked at MediaRadar
|
It appears the right people have been promoted and advanced and management is taking care of their employees. Management changed right before I left so I don't know how it is now, but I made the decision to leave because it felt like just a job. I did enjoy the people I worked with and the technology is really great.

MediaRadar is an awesome company for so many reasons. No matter what department you're in, there is something new to learn every day. You will always be challenged and there are lots of opportunities to work with/support other departments so you can see how your work effects the res of the company. There is a real feeling that your work matters with regard to the continued success of the company. Onboarding is very thorough and takes place over the course of over a month to familiarize all new hires with the function of each department and the history, evolution, and future plans of the company. The CEO is friendly and very accessible, he sits alongside the rest of the employees on one of the floors occupied by MediaRadar.
My only caveat is that the company is in a period of rapid growth and the pressure falls very much on the teams that need to rise to meet all the new opportunities. There is a lot to learn about the product itself, the industries that use the product and how they use it differently, and the process of doing the job they were hired to do. It's a steep learning curve and new employees are supported, but sometimes feel overwhelmed and experience some struggle with meeting very high expectations.

The co-founders are both very friendly, approachable people who prefer to work at community desks with their teams rather than remain separate in offices.
