This posting is mostly in response to the one where the person sugggests we are a "slum lord", among other things, and alleges to be a full-time employee. I don't have a memory in my 16 years with the company of this employee ever coming into our office to express the opinons they espouse in the post. Senior management has always had a committment to continuous improvement. (All companies have strengths and weaknesses and we continue to try and build on the former while minimizing the latter) Not every company is a good fit for every employee and when that is the case, sometimes the best answer for an employee is to find a better fit. Certainly if an employee is unhappy, the best mechanism to turn that around is communication with their manager and if that fails, communication with senior management. It is a mechanism we encourage. Anonymous postings have no chance of having an impact on an employees happiness or fulfillment. I'm proud to be an employee of Media Real Estate Company. The alleged employee who posted their views should probably find a company they are also proud to work for. Given how clearly they articulated what they sense to be the problem, we would invite them to set up a time to sit down and articulate what they believe to be the solutions. It's an invitation we would offer at any time to any current or future employee. Media Real Estate Company is a great place to work.

Possibly the existence of "silos" that may prevent more open lines of communication. We consistenly look at ways to better vertically integrate.
