I had the opportunity of sharing the Morehead State University mission with our donor base as well as keeping them apprised of all the new happenings on campus. This included establishing and maintaining of endowments, planned giving, construction or renovations of current university property, and oversight of the corporate sponsorship portfolio for the Foundation and athletics. My CEO and director of development did a good job of providing me with the tools needed to succeed. My coworkers were excellent to work with. The most tedious part of the job was ensuring that morale stayed high during times where gifting was a low rate due to our university's demographic of graduates.
