I love this place!

This is a small company with a very accessible/approachable boss. We are full time employees with health insurance, vacations and sick leave benefits.
We have access to a free parking in Old San Juan. I have worked in several companies and this is HEAVEN for me! If you are too smart, apply for a NASA job.
|
The hourly wage can be better, but I have being under paid and with lots of haters as co workers. I consider Microjuris a good work place with a great job environment.

The lack of structure creates a serious problem. The atmosphere in the company is unstable and disorganised. No human resources manager. Company employees are underpaid but contracts with outsiders are quite juicy. The academic credentials of the people who work there are not valued or taken into account their specialised knowledge in certain areas. The current CEO is sexist and classist. There is no expectation of job growth. The lack of structure creates a serious problem. The atmosphere in the company is unstable and disorganized. No human resources manager. There is no expectation of job growth. The building has serious problems of fungus on the walls and have not been addressed which creates a health problem.

Distrust, micromanagement, harassment & owners greed

CEO is a distrustful, abusive guy always trying to set you up in order to have later excuses to not pay you or get the General Manager (former company receptionist) to fire you. The CEO has zero say in the company as his brother-in-law (the real owner), tells him what to do from the shadows and has his personally appointed General Manager keeping in check the CEO so he doesn't finish to bring the company to bankruptcy.

All real management has been wiped out from Microjuris leaving it with only the increasingly stingy, paranoid owner/cfo and a bunch of under paid, over abused low end staffers and interns. Always pay behind schedule. Also say they include many benefits that later you find are being deducted from your paycheck or worse, that you have a debt with them. If you resign they invent a lot "owed" benefits that you must pay back before leaving the company, so they never pay anybody when leaving, either resigning or fired. Not a cent. If you ask for the money they say, "go ahead, sue us" (with a big smile on their face)
