On the employee side it is dark, noisy, and has no parking,. The really cool (lots of perks) executive side is separated by a locked door system that requires an escort. Not like the E-team is in that often anyway. Without them, this company would be no where because none of the new people know what the heck they are doing. Half of them don't even know what a keg is. The below comment is just a perfect example of how horrible the working environment was. I have worked here for two years. Normally I do not give reviews. Reading some of the bad reviews made me feel that it was important to tell what it is really like. Almost everyone working here is new to Microstar. People are here for the right reasons. To earn money with people that are fun to work with. Beer breweries are our customers! When I first started working here, there were a lot of bad people that were left over from the previous group. Many had very bad attitudes and were mean because the previous leaders were not good to work for. One of them even yelled at me when I was new because I asked a question. Customers hated the old employees too! Thankfully most of the old employees that were asked to leave have been replaced with great people. Looks like those same bad people left reviews here. I have worked in a lot of companies and never heard so many people laughing each day. Everyone works hard but has fun too. Company continues to grow and customers actually like talking to me now. Management has a lot of experience and always talks to us and asks how they can help. Ask brewery customers about the difference. It is nothing like how it used to be. I am proud to work here. We are even moving to LODO in Denver near all the brewers. That is going to be so awesome. Work is work. Would rather be rich and not have to work. But, if you have to, should be with people you like. The best thing to ever happen to Microstar was their interim CEO. It was the first and only time an upper management member truly cared for his employees and treated them with respect. The worst thing to ever happen to Microstar is the new executive management team. The Christmas parties. They are very well planned and always at great locations. The logistics manager is the greatest person in management at the entire company. He truly cares for the people under him. The customers. They are the only ones who make you feel appreciated and help you get through the day. If your one of the lucky ones that upper management likes (you must fall in one of the three categories below) then you get to go to breweries to "work" & it's all paid for by the company and you get to come back and brag about how hammered you got with the customers. You don't have to go above and beyond because it's goes unnoticed so it's not even worth trying. Head of executive team is very immature. Tries to turn his employees against each other by fueling rumors of lies. Extremely unprofessional when it comes to employees. The company is very discriminatory when it comes to hiring. You've either had to have played football, been in the Army, or worked for Ball (lucky Ball sends it's worse employees to M*)ead of executive team is very immature. Don't bother applying if you don't have one of those three under your belt because you won't get the job. They treat their employees horribly. You will get treated better working in a sweat shop. There is absolutely no appreciation for the ones who make the customers happy and keep the company running. Make sure your fake smile is big enough for the executive team because if not you'll get fired. It's not about how hard you work or how good you do, it's about how fake you can be. They like to buy other companies but don't hire employee's to help with them so you get stuck doing all the work with an increase in hours but no increase in pay. They take advantage of their employees greatly.
