Great company work definitely cares about there people that they employ. There always a smile when you come in. A day at Mid Atlantic Sports network would be call answered, emails. Always paying close attention to the game to give all the viewers abreast of game pauses.

Great Jumping Point

MASN is a great place to work for out-of-college applicants. It gives you a brief overview of sports television but ONLY focuses on baseball. Other sports fall by the wayside along with employees. People usually quit because there is no opportunity for advancement or pay increase. . . each department only has maybe 4 or 5 fulltime employees total with the exception of sales so unless someone quits you will not get a raise or promotion.
The accounting department will tell you "no pay increases because MASN doesn't have it in the budget . . ." People have gone as long as 7 years without getting a pay increase and in 2016 when they eventually "got a raise" it was because MASN increased the amount they were taking out of the employees paycheck for insurance so it was really a compensation bump - average person only saw $70-$150 (at most) to their paychecks monthly . . . that is not a pay raise.
Otherwise, the employees are very nice.

Loved it!
|
Loved working with my now friends. We sat around and watched baseball together...for money! Can't think of anything better really.
Wish the pay was better but with the crazy amount of hours worked in a single baseball season, it kind of made up for it.

MASN is a great place to work and treat their employees very well, on a long term basis. The benefits are amazing and the baseball atmosphere is unbeatable. Very fun and enthusiastic office space located right in the warehouse at camden yards.

Slow, boring, not challenging at all. No upward possibility for advancement, no promotions, no bonuses, Nothing. Tense and at times unprofessional work environment. Management is he say she say rules. No HR Department.
