Love the people I worked with. All were there to help and had the best interest for you. Cant beat the hours.

They needed more staff. There was a lot of students and not enough people there. Families could have been more involved.

I've only worked as a substitute teacher in the district, and the best part about it is working with great teachers.

The money they pay substitute teachers is pitiful. You only make $85 a day.

This district has many dedicated and talented educators. In many respects it is a forward looking district that is proactive rather than reactive. The arts community is strong and having Wesleyan University located in the city adds an interesting dimension.

The city does not financially support the schools at an appropriate level. The unions are strong and this results in positive changes being slower to take hold.
