If someone is not pulling their weight address that person and have them makes changes not the entire staff. Good employees feel like their hard work does not matter when they have to do extra reporting because of a few. Micro manage only those few who are slacking and allow others to continue their success without all of the duplicate reporting.

Zero concern for employee welfare, bottom line is top priority

Yearly parties, paid vacations. Most weekends and school holidays off. Not much else to add as far as pros.
|
My spouse worked there for over a year. Terrible schedule, very demanding. Job began taking its toll o the family. Spouse spoke with management. Shortly thereafter, spouse (who received countless good reviews from students and helped increase retention rate) began to hear negative feedback from management about attitude. No compassion. Position terminated due in their words to his personal life interfering with his work attitude. MTI then contested unemployment stating he was terminated for "misconduct." Spouse took management approved personal time off and job was posted in absentia. Very shady operation, especially where financial aid, enrollment and job placement are concerned. Would not recommend working for this company.

Listen to the concerns of your employees. When you see a previously happy, high performing, and hard working employee suddenly begin to struggle, when you are told straight up that the ridiculous schedule is taking a toll on the employees well being and that of the family, listen up and work with them rather than sneaking around finding a way to make them disappear. Also, try being honest in your financial dealings. You're screwing your students and employees both.
