I enjoyed working with the majority of people at mti. Management does have some issues, I was hired during a wage freeze and did not find this out until my one year review. General culture is fun and rewarding.

Horrible Management & Sketchy school behind closed doors

The management only cared about more money. They raised the student tuition & then offered additional loans to students to be able to attend, knowing based off of their financial info they could not afford to pay these loans while going to school, but as long as they started school, that's all that mattered. They allowed way too many students in a class (25-30 per start date), so it was hard for students to learn & get enough hands on experience. The Financial Aid Dept only cared about getting students funding so they could start and if someone didn't qualify for funding, they would go to the Financial Aid Director and they would try to find different loop holes for them. Financial Aid Director and Coordinators were paid to find loop holes and ways around federal loans and laws to get more funding for students who couldn't afford it.
When I started at MTI is was a wonderful great place to work. Very close family like group. Then money became more important than student success and it all started to blow up. It turned into a very sketchy school behind closed doors and glad I left when I did.

Desecent school but sucks to work there they dont care about their employees just push the students through all they care about is money. They dont care about the instructors they lie to you. Say that teaching counts as experience but they promote you. Ain't worth working there
