Please see cons below.

If you value yourself and your health at all, do not consider. Upper Management says things are changing, however the environment is still completely micromanaged, controlling, biased, and really does leave employees broken down. Upper Management is included in all sales perks/incentives, and gets the best accounts- just an overall unfair, unhealthy, and very selfish environment. Almost like being back in high school, maybe even middle school again. You can try your hardest but if Upper Management does not value you, you will not last.
Material is also outdated, not an easy sell.

Great team to work with

I like that this is a local, woman owned company. Focus is shifting to more innovation, new product lines. New policies of flex/work from home, etc have been welcome. The staff is knowledgeable is motivated.

Do not even consider working here if you value your health

The staff were nice. My best day was the day I resigned.
|
The owner only cares about the bottom line. The employees, especially sales reps, are only looked at as profit centers. There is no work-life balance, PTO is discouraged and everything is micromanaged. People are just left broken down and very stressed. The environment is not healthy.
The product line is outdated.

Things are changing at Millennium
|
|
The employees are really great. It is very much a team effort.
The compensation and benefits are very good. Some benefits have recently changed to further promote a work-life balance.
The new President and VP Sales are constantly working on new products and technologies to offer to clients.

My cons are being addressed. The new management team is a firm believer in work-life balance.

Great people, great experience

Great people and easily the hardest working and most dedicated group I've ever worked with. For me it was a good opportunity to gain valuable experience doing a job I enjoyed.

Just wish I lived closer to the office. The commute didn't offer me enough time to be with my family.

Nice people, tough place to work

Some of the people are great to work with and socialize with, opportunity to grow your business and learn about the industry
|
micromanaged, bad work-life balance, breaks you down. Only working there for 1.5 years brought my self-esteem and work motivation to an all time low. While I loved many of the people, the work-life balance and management expecting you to be "on call" and there every spare moment. Taking off more then 2 days in a row is a BIG deal. I do not recommend unless you are a work-aholic!

There is potential to make a good bit of money here if you are a sales rep. Unfortunately, the demand for Millennium's services has taken a serious hit due to PhRMA guidelines and they haven't prepared themselves for this downturn.
|
Really consider your priorities before pursuing a job here. You will have no flexibility in your schedule, your email will be monitored, and their policy of micromanagement crushes any desire you might have had to work hard. They are constantly recruiting sales reps because each new hire burns out within a year and has to quit.
