Milliyet is one of the oldest and most prestigious newspapers in Turkey. Milliyet Sanat, the monthly arts magazine issued by the Arts and Culture Desk of the newspaper which I am a part of, is the oldest (45 years) and the most prestigious of its kind.

The wages are pretty low, as is true for most publications in Turkey. Also, working as a journalist who is also working for a magazine means that you virtually have no time off work and have to meet constant hourly, daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
