Salary is competitive with Google and microsoft 2. Top notch quality of work. 3. Good to work here and then switch in 6 months to a year. 1. Poor management with lots of micromanagement. My manager was one of the best managers there, but still very big micromanager. 2. Very high load on senior devs: Expectation is to work 23.5 hrs a day even on weekends. It can be understood from the fact that after completion of a project, devs are given 2-3 days rest period. 3. Checkout all the reviews of devs, very poor rating by them. Checkout rating by managers and leads, good rating. It only suggests the culture there. Management lives in dystopia. Note: For compensation and benefits I have given 1 because it has inherent job instability. There's a lot to learn from them but they're quite understaffed to even make a dent in the existing process. - Founders are still stuck in their archaic style of working from 10+ years ago, which brings down the product value. We're too engrossed in "we can do it for you" by providing services for everything and not focused on making the product easy to use and maintain. - The founders still have the "my way or the highway" attitude for business decisions they don't have experience in, which is unfortunate and will be the company's downfall. They love "yes" people more than those who challenge or reason with them. - We say we can do things we cannot, which has been a problem for Mindtickle for years. - There's no direction from management as people here are firefighting more than improving processes or products. - No work-life balance, but I think all IT companies are the same. - The product vision changes too often, one year we're enablement, next we're sales readiness, then we're revenue intelligence. These manager dont have any consenus. They give high package from good companies and then they want you to work 24*7, without leave. My manager did this many times, we discussed the deadlines will be a week, he wanted the result in other day and blame you for not completing in a day. They will always say we are in financial distress and if you dont work well to our expectations, you will get fired. Many of my colleagues were fired and a lot of them were threatened. They dont have job security. Very poor management and all the worst managers. Managers will be free and attending rubbish meetings which dont have any consequence. Half the time they dont join the meeting and enjoy free time. Any engineer would look for three things - the order might change from person to person. 1) Am I getting paid what I deserve? 2) How will my career grow in this company? Do I have people whom I can learn from? Are there technical challenges that I can solve and help the company and my growth? 3) What is the culture of the company? --- Mindtickle ranked high in all of these questions for me. It pays well, above the market benchmarks. There are multi-product lines that Mindtickle supports. One gets exposure to different problems, from applying Gen-AI to working on world-class data warehouse products to building performant world-class applications on mobile/web. Some of the technical problems are unique to Mindtickle, while others are common problems like - scaling the systems, making them performant, upgrade the storage systems to keep up with the load. In the interview process I got a chance to interact with different people and liked the style of conversational interview where it did not feel like they were asking questions and I was answering. The same feeling still holds when everyone is eager to help you succeed and unblock you. The collaborative nature of the work is something that I really like. Mindtickle is aiming high, which means the expectations from each team member are also high. If you like this kind of challenge then Mindtickle is a good place for you. I love all the opportunities for social interactions - music, TT, Badminton, hiking groups, cricket league. This is a great way to make friends. Volunteering and organizing these events is as much fun as attending them. The hackathon, which happened earlier this year, was buzzing with energy. The SAAS market situation is not that great, and Mindtickle is not sheltered from the market. Even with the rough market, Mindtickle has done decently in the last two years and has very aggressive growth for the next two years.
