As with most jobs, the quality of your experience here will depend on what location you work at and who your team is. MiniLuxe's culture, benefits, compensation and opportunity for advancement are like no other in the nail industry and are phenomenal. The job work/life balance can be really tough at times but that is to be expected in a management position. Upper management is very helpful and I have learned so many valuable skills from my studio manager and district manager. They hire uneducated managers with no kind of customer service. Nail techs also have no customer service or real-time nail tech experience. They will make non-trainers train the low skilled workers. Nail techs and front desk vape in the back room and managers don't care. They barely have customers coming in because of poor job skills from nail techs. Management does not care for anyone to move up the ladder at all. It feels like school and you get called into a room like at a principle's office if they feel you have not used their speech word by word with clients.
