Mireaux is a great company to work for. I am impressed by the outstanding work practices and the work ethics.
This company offers an amazing opportunity for professional growth through the development of new skills and by gaining experience in diverse areas. Additionally, Mireaux has an exceptional working environment.

The only downside that I can think of is no having benefits which it’s totally clear and understood due to the nature of the contractor job.

Having come from a major corporation I was astound by the level of training and resources provided to employees to ensure they are competent in their roles and responsibilities. The career opportunities with Mireaux Management Solutions were also rewarding for me, as I started as an Auditor and progressed to a Consultant and Trainor. a The company also has an employee recognition program and offers incentives for exceptional job performance. Great Company to grow professionally

I was surprised how much effort and resources the company put towards Information Security and ISO 27001 for its size. Employees are trained and learn a lot about it as the company practices what they preach. As a small company you are asked to do a lot of things so have the ability to learn a lot. The top management is very forward thinking and always looking at ways to implement the latest technologies. Very understanding of employees and their families needs.

The oil and gas downturn affected the company. They need to continue to work on diversification, to help weather any future industry specific drop.

Quality Work Company, Environment, and Experience

Working at Mireaux Management Solutions has been a very rewarding and educational experience. I had the exciting opportunity to get a taste of the company and industry as a seasonal intern while on my school breaks. With not much work experience besides a bit of modeling and retail, I felt comfortable with the tasks I was asked to perform as everyone was very helpful and taught me the skills I needed to get jobs done. Might've been overwhelming at first, but the staff was very understanding and always eager to teach me! I was able to do many tasks, not just menial intern assignments like getting coffee or cleaning the office. I was able and trusted to help work on important projects and treated as a valued member of the team- very appreciative of this opportunity and even more grateful that I was invited back to work during my winter break home as well. The people I got to work with were all very inviting and the CEO is a very enjoyable person to work for. Not once did I feel un-valued or given tasks that were too overbearing or too much for me to handle.

I would just say that it can be overwhelming to have to learn everything involved if you don't know what you are doing at first, as I felt when I started, but everyone is willing to help so that should ease your mind. It also is a small staff, if you find that as a downside. Although, the office environment is very peaceful and light because of this, not hectic, distracting, or overbearing. Do expect a lot of work at times to keep you occupied during the work week, though! Not always a bad thing.

What I really enjoyed was having a detailed list of tasks I was told to do other than the other opportunities to work on other projects as well. Organization like that does really well with people I think, so not everyone is trying to keep on top of others, you can really keep track of yourself.

A Lot Has Changed

The Company/Owner described in the negative reviews may have been like that before but it's not how Mireaux is now. The CEO is direct and would like everything to be perfect, but that is what CEOs expect no matter the company. When the CEO and the Owner is the same person that expectation is higher because the company is their baby and they want it to grow.
When I read the previous reviews before the interview I was concerned that I was interviewing for a crazy person. Now that I’ve been here almost a year I still have yet to meet the person described in the previous posts. Again, she may have been that way before but she is not that way now. I am new to the industry and I make mistakes she will point out every mistake, but I’ve never been insulted or spoken to harshly.
The CEO is in the office more so we are able to ask questions and receive immediate answers or explanations. We celebrate birthdays and other events. I’ve never felt that my personal life was on display
As stated in previous reviews, it’s a smaller company so each person has multiple roles; Mireaux is a good place to learn a little of everything for the processes and the industries. There are very few places where you can work directly under the CEO and see all sides of the business and how it’s handled. It is definitely a great learning experience.

Because you have to wear so many hats, some small details or tasks can be easily overlooked. Sometimes having to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of multiple functions/processes at the same time can be overwhelming.

When you give a new person a task/role, when possible, review the procedures with the employee to ensure the expectations are met. I.E. "The procedure says the bookkeeper does this but you will be responsible for now."

- Excellent exposure to all aspects of business in a wide variety of industries. After a year at Mireaux, you will know more about how companies run, what support functions are necessary, and how different jobs interact than some people with decades of work experience.
- A small company means an opportunity to wear many hats and pick up new skills and challenges.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and management practices makes you extremely valuable to future employers.
-Multiple projects and high internal quality standards mean that you will develop excellent project management skills and an insane attention to detail.
- The owner works harder than God, and it shows in her subject matter knowledge.

- Horrific work-life balance. Expect to work nights and some weekends and to have requests for time off questioned and/or "forgotten."
-Very corporate/bureaucratic culture.
-Get all salary/benefits information in writing and read all documentation very carefully before signing. When I worked there, all employees were required either to stay with the company a year or reimburse the company several thousand dollars for a mandatory ISO training, and to sign a very broad noncompete agreement good for five years. We were promised benefits/raises a few times that came late or not at all.
- Owner can be verbally abusive and insulting.
