No regard for keeping jobs in the United States nor for providing good service to their customers. They outsourced all of their customer care, laying off a whole work force, and removing the option for customers to be able to call in. Terrible corporate culture.

I worked at this company for over 4 years, only to be laid off along with 55+ other employees in a heartless cost-cutting move to outsource to the Philippines. This was not the first round of layoffs either, as they had already let go of a significant number of people back in January 2023. The lack of engineering support made it nearly impossible to get anything done, and the upper leadership was clearly incompetent, more focused on making a quick profit to sell the company off. The way they handled the layoffs was disgraceful - when they laid off the entire customer care department, only a few people were informed directly, while the rest had to find out by seeing their accounts deactivated. It was left to supervisors and managers, who had also lost their jobs, to break the news to the rest of the team. HR's delayed response added to the confusion and heartbreak. This company has lost its way and no longer values its employees or customers. The heart of the company, the customer care team, was decimated, leaving the customer experience in shambles. Avoid this company at all costs

After acquiring Imperfect Foods and decimating the good things that came with being employed by Imperfect Foods, I'm slowly losing my sanity thanks to Misfits Market. Where should I even start? Maybe the forced overtime to clean up mistakes made by other teams, decreased PTO accruement, no raises for the year, no bonuses because the metrics they had in place were entirely unattainable due to the poor job the dev team did launching the new website, rampant favoritism with upper management, poorly behaved customers that feel entitled to mis you verbally and emotionally, layoffs, hour cuts, having to clean up messes made by the third-party customer care team in the Philippines they use, on top of all the general lack of an actual positive culture and identity.
There is a clear divide in the way that exempt and non-exempt employees are valued and treated. I mean, how out of touch do you have to be to send your employees, who live in the desert, a company branded umbrella as some paltry excuse for "appreciation". I'll enjoy using that never.
I feel I've wasted the time I've spent with the company and pre-merger. I have gained no real experience, no real career progression, no impactful professional relationships, or anything positive other than just getting by. I think I cry almost every single day because of this job and the customers.
Some of the folks are wonderful, certainly not the upper leadership and especially not the CEO, but some of them make the day to day less painful.
