The clients I was supporting were unreasonably difficult. They kept complaining about everything, they very demanding, not understanding at all. That as well as COVID-19 made work unbearable at times. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 770696 Open I know it's difficult to do, but please handle your clients a little better. Establish boundaries and don't allow client staff to just walk all over your company's employees. You are fortunate to have such good/competent people working for you, treasure them. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Mar 22nd, 2021 01:55PM Mar 22nd, 2021 01:55PM Mission1st
private:mission1st https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=770696 Jan 30th, 2021 12:00AM Open Open Mission1st Program Manager Arlington, VA Poor Leadership Co-workers not embedded at Corporate were great people to get to know and friendships continue to this day. Seems like all senior management went through the same leadership training of "motivate by intimidation and threats". Weird, even the offsite team building events had an undercurrent of menace within the speeches. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 1.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 770696 Open You provide services, not products. That means your employees are your IP assets, not the enemy. Why hire people, or be in the SETA business, if you have an inherent trust of the people required to fulfill the mission? 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 1.0 Mar 22nd, 2021 01:55PM Mar 22nd, 2021 01:55PM Mission1st

private:mission1st https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=770696 Dec 3rd, 2020 12:00AM Open Open Mission1st Rather Not Say United States USA If you are supporting a family on these benefits I would look elsewhere Generous salary, not much else Not a good experience. Seems like they were always out to screw there employees. At one point, you couldn't participate in a 401k AT ALL for the first year. I'm not talking employer matching contributions, I'm saying they wouldn't even take your money out of your paycheck and put it into the account. They have since changed that, but now there is a 2 years vesting period. Health insurance premiums are very high and the deductibles are astronomical. If you are supporting a family on these benefits you need to know this. Dental insurance was like 5 or 6 times more expensive here than anywhere else I've worked. Seemed like it wasn't even worth getting. Maybe the benefits were as they were due to it being a rather small company. I don't have much experience with smaller companies so this could be the norm. I guess I will give them the benefits of the doubt. When covid hit, of course we were sent home to telework. Out of nowhere they tried to tell us that since we were now teleworking that we were considered "remote" employees and as such, would not be accruing leave. Haha. Are you serious? Luckily that never came to fruition either. I got quite a bump in pay when I came on board, but now that's it's over, if you add up all the things I kind of got screwed over on I think it's a wash. If you do come here, you may have a better experience. I say good riddance. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 1.0 2.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 770696 Open You need to do a better job of taking care of your people, especially the ones that are doing great work for you. Also need to step up and remove the people that are NOT working and need to be removed. Don't just leave them there and make the company look bad and make the good eggs pick up the slack. Short-changing your people is not going to work out well for you. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 0.0 Mar 22nd, 2021 01:55PM Mar 22nd, 2021 01:55PM Mission1st

Staff posses strong technical capabilities, and come with many years of experience in a highly competitive arena. As a firm, they consistently punch above their weight, in a field dominated by bigger players with deeper pockets, which speaks volumes about their ability to get the job done even in the most challenging of environments. Leadership is strong and knowledgeable. The finance leadership in particular is very well organized, and provides timely guidance on matters of strategic importance.
