Its an Ok temporary Job
|
One of the best things that I remember the most are the coworkers they were very nice, Other than that This place has very bad communication between managers and Shifts, They pay is not very good and they expect you to work too much for the money is being paid, if a manager in a shift doesn't like you then your life is hell in there till you leave, its an ok job for a temporary time but if you can find something better try somewhere else.

Very Flexible
|
They allow you to work “on call” but really you just can work whenever you want and you just have to work a certain amount of hours each month. The pay is great. They do have mandatory overtime which can be a pain sometimes. They also tend to make very fast decisions that are sometimes not well though out. The managers are also very helpful. One problem is that they are always changing something even when there is no need.

Great place to work.... if you're Mormon or part of the "family"
|
This place is legitimately one of the worst places I have ever worked. This comes from someone who has worked in a wide range of industries, and worked in some very intense/difficult settings. This place makes some of those jobs look like a cake walk.
Don't expect to thrive here, unless you're part of "the family" (the name/faces of the company, or close with them) and/or follow the Mormon religion.
Some managers are petty or play favorites and will make your life a living h-e-double-hockey-stick if they decide they don't like you. I will give credit to my most recent manager, they actually seem to care and wanted me to do well and help me learn/grow in my career and field. But most others aren't like that unfortunately.
Company morale is constantly low due to gossip/drama amongst departments, poor wages, being overworked (and obviously underpaid), and under-appreciated. Every once in a while, SLT/higher ups decide to throw employees a bone in the form of a "pizza party" or whatever as a "thank you" for "all the hard work". This seems to mostly be to appease people when there is too much grumbling going on. Heaven forbid that they actually re-assess/raise people's pay.
Part of the reason gossip/drama is such a constant here is because a lot of the people who work here still act like they're in high school, and management does nothing to squash it (or they're part of the problem). They won't ever let go/fire people who should be, but at the first opportunity will let go people who actually work hard and are good at what they do, and are actually helping the company stay afloat.
**I've been asked why I stayed as long as I did (over 5 years), and believe me, I tried to get out as fast as I could. But part of the issue is that this company will screw you if they get wind that you may leave. I know, because I had an interview with another company and they asked if they could contact my current employer (the usual check just to confirm you actually worked there) and asked for a phone # to my supervisor or HR rep/dept. I gave them both, and then was turned down for the job (even though I was sure I had it in the bag, because they said they were considering making me an offer). I find out later that when they called my supervisor at the time, they badmouthed me to the other company, and when they spoke to an HR person, they said I lied about my job title (which I didn't)!!

Awful management

Untrained supervisors with little or no seniority, it was a dead end job you have to know someone within the company for any kind of job advancement , very little salary increase, it was hard to be able to get 40 hour weeks in , very unorganized, expect daily duties to change on a regular basis without proper training or leadership , managers will yell at staff if they feel you have gone over their head to make a legit complaint making it a hostile work environment, I would not recommend this job to anyone , if so maybe just a temp job , this is not a career based job at all

Productive and quik-paced
|
The hours were good so you had weekends off but you would work nights. It's very quick-paced and there isn't a lot of leniency with person life events that may happen while at work.
