If you want talented employees to stay, take a look at the people making decisions for the departments and their contributions and attitude towards the company and other employees. Employees often feel like their managers do not care about their best interests and career growth and that is not a positive. Some managers speak behind employees back to other employees causing inappropriate situations and makes work like a scene from mean girls. If a manager knows what to say to upper management to win praise and support, it does not mean their team feels supported or do they have the company's best interest in mind. Likely the opposite. It's sad because a lot of talented people are at Mixbook.

While I haven't been employed for too long at Mixbook, I thrive in this environment. Everyone in this office is fun, polite, and super helpful. Everyone I have interacted with so far has demonstrated a genuine interest in collective success, and are more than willing to drop what they are doing to support others. The CEO is so down to Earth, and has shown personal interest in my efforts. I saw a review about politics? Seriously? There aren't that many people in our office. The executive I report to is amazing. Totally classy, extremely helpful, and empowers me to do what I do best. We have it all, great leadership, cohesive and amazing team, challenging but meaningful goals, and an atmosphere where you can truly succeed.
