Great People, Exciting Work, Terrible Work-Life Balance

I loved working at MKG, i was hooked from the moment I worked on my first project. The work is super exciting and I was able to gain experience in multiple fields at all different levels and I will always be thankful to have started my career at MKG.
My colleagues were also huge bonus, I made some lifelong friends, which i attribute to MKG striving to not only hire people who could do the work, but also fit in with the company as a whole. I truly felt like it was a team environment and people were open and honest with each other, wether that was asking for help or if they had feedback.

I think MKG struggled with the growing process, and the company and the projects did not grow proportionally. Projects got bigger and clients expected more but they didnt have the staff do handle the new asks so the long days and late nights became much more frequent. Senior leadership was either grossly out of touch with the daily challenges or chose higher revenue over employee work life balance and they even stopped spending money on employee moral boosters like company retreats and the summer party.
