I learned so much about the marketing/ public relations world thanks to them. I felt I developed good relationships even though it was virtual too! Definitely recommend interning with them especially if it is going to be your first internship! Merritt is so nice and makes sure everyone knows how happy is she of all of her interns. Awful and condescending management and ownership. Never considers employees and always exploits employees to the benefit of clients. Terrible hours, understanding towards employees, and my work has been scrutinized but never made better. Probably because management doesn’t know what proper work/writing looks like. Since it is a boutique agency, I have the opportunity to learn directly from the president and founder, and that proximity has really accelerated my growth at this agency. Some perks, like free beauty products - Terrible salary and benefits - Toxic work environment - "Mean girl" mentality from owner - Owner will ALWAYS value her clients over her employees - Employees treated like animals - Employees are expected to put work above their mental and physical health, their relationships, their hobbies, their self-care, EVERYTHING - Fake personalities - Appearance is everything to the owner I could go on...
